Carbon Reduction Plan

Bishop’s Close Medical Practice is committed to supporting the NHS ambition of delivering a Greener NHS and reducing our environmental impact.

We have implemented the following initiatives to improve sustainability within our practice:

• Installation of motion sensor lighting in corridors, waiting areas, and consulting rooms to improve energy efficiency
• Recycling and safe disposal of inhalers for patients with asthma and COPD
• Use of recycled paper for printing and administrative tasks
• Participation in blister pack (pill packet) recycling schemes
• Improved waste management and recycling within our minor operations clinic

We will continue to review and develop our processes to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable healthcare system.
